Municipal economy, in which a few thousands of public utility enterprises operate, providing basic, subsistence-related services to the residents, undergoes transformation. Municipalities modify organisational and legal forms of their enterprises, restructure them and privatise. In fact, the trends of territorial development and consolidation of enterprises becomes more and more popular, as well as initiating cooperation with private operators. Many of those changes are determined by an endeavour to obtain European Union funds.

Business Expert has participated in those changes from the very beginning of self-governmental units in Poland (1990), preparing over 1300 consulting projects for over 700 municipalities and municipal enterprises from all over Poland, as well as for Polish and foreign investors.

We intend to continue supporting municipalities during municipal economy transformation, during which municipal enterprises will be transformed into modern, successful and effective entities, often based on partnership relations with private entities.
