We have been operating in the market for over 25 years. We started in 1984, and in 1987 we obtained the administrative licence for the provision of organisational and legal advisory services, becoming one of the first consulting companies in Poland. We have been operating in our present organisational form since 1990, and since 2008 we have been operating under the business name Centrum Konsultingu Business Expert, after transformation into a limited partnership. We still, though, use the abbreviated name Business Expert, as it has already become popular among hundreds of self-governments within Poland.

Business Expert’s major scope of activity is providing organisational, legal and economic advisory services. Since 1990, when the Act on Privatisation of State-Owned Enterprises came into force, and self-governments emerged, initiated by the Act on Territorial Self-Government, Business Expert has actively participated in the transformation processes of state-owned and municipal enterprises, as well as budgetary agencies – preparing projects for restructuring, transformation, privatisation and consolidation for the founding agencies and the new economic entities. From the very beginning we specialised in providing advisory services to self-governmental units and municipal entities, and, thus, we are the pioneers and leaders in self-governmental and municipal advisory services both as far as extent of operation and the number of transformed entities are concerned.

Moreover, we cooperate with Polish and foreign investors, who intend to participate in privatisation process of Polish municipal economy.

As the majority of our team members previously worked in administration and municipal units, we approach self-governmental economic problems from the practical point of view. We support the representatives of self-governments from organisational and conceptual point of view, using our long-term experience and knowledge of restructuring and transformation as well as lobbying techniques (convincing municipal boards and personnel teams to support our projects).
